Reiki & Soul Blossom Holistic Healing. I know many of you may be thinking “What the heck is Reiki?” Well, I had the same question when I first heard about this. I went in with an open mind on this profession and I am so happy I did. I met Sandy, who I will introduce shortly, and I never looked back. This lady explained this treatment in great detail to me and answered all my questions. I was very apprehensive and I was unsure if this would work for me. I had this opinion that Reiki was this false, with some sort of X file, supernatural treatment with a placebo effect.
False Stigmas About Reiki
These were the opinions, stigmas, and views that I had picked up from my upbringing and from society. The thought process is -If I was not taking Pharmaceutical medications or seeing my GP I would never get better in mind our body. If you were practising Meditation, Reiki or taking any form of natural treatments you were seen as a hippy or a bit weird. This type of Stigma is still here with practices such as Reiki however I can assure you that this is not the case.
The Gift That Keeps Giving
From my first session and from every session since I have found that my Reiki treatments with Sandy have done everything it promised and much more. The lessons I have learned from Sandy during my treatments can be used at home and after each session, I learn more about myself, my mind and my body. This is a practice and treatment I have done many times and I will continue to do. It is the gift that keeps on giving.

Find a good Reiki master and start your journey in mindfulness and truly start your healing process naturally. I know if I haven’t taken up this practice, along with CBD, I would still be on many more Pharmaceutical Medications. I use CBD in conjunction with Reiki and I can honestly say that these practices have lifted and increased all the positive aspects of my life and decreased all the negative areas. A good Reiki master equals a great body, spirit, and mind.
What Is Reiki
What is Reiki? Reiki is an ancient healing method, which is aids relaxation, reduces stress and promotes healing. The word Reiki is made from two Japanese words rei and ki, together they mean universal life energy. It is this energy that a reiki practitioner channels through his or her hands into the recipient’s body. The body then uses this energy to bring about self-healing of mind, body, and spirit Reiki is suitable for everybody, regardless of his or her age or degree of health. It is a non-religious practice.

Prevention Is Better Than Cure
However, Reiki is not just for you when you are ill or to be used to heal injuries, reduce pain or its symptoms. Reiki brings the body into wholeness, bringing it into harmony with the perfect blueprint of the person. It can be used daily for emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. It really should be part of your mindfulness routine.
Reiki has been used for centuries but was only rediscovered by a Japanese healer Dr. Mikao Usui in the 1900s. As mentioned above, the word reiki means universal life force energy; however this is the literal translation, whilst it is correct, more informally it means hands-on healing. Usui developed and taught Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, (the Usui method of hands-on healing). This was the original form of reiki. There are many more today that have developed from this form but Usui reiki is the traditional unmodified technique.

I have tried many things to help heal myself over the years. The Pharmaceutical road was pushed as this was what society says you should do to get better. I hated the numbness and disconnection I felt in my life, not to mention the associated addiction to medications that were present.
It took a very long time for my Counsellor to convince me to look at other areas that could help me recover. Mediation and breathing, more exercise, yoga, and massage were just a few things I persued. For me, Reiki has a combination of treatments in one.
During my session, I encouraged to meditate and practice forms of breathing. Sandy does hands-on healing with me and my other senses are also treated and heightened. Aromatherapy is used with her specific organic homemade oils and depending on the healing she feels you need during that session, there is specific music being played to tie this all together.
Sandy Middleton has provided the missing piece to my mindfulness routine and given me the knowledge and power to do things on my own. Amongst other things, CBD has helped me with Sleep, Anxiety, and Stress. Reiki has pushed this healing further and I would highly recommend you get in touch with Sandy or find a good Reiki practitioner locally to you.
